Also known as the Chapel of Barolo, this colorful little building sits along a dirt road about a mile from the town of La Morra.  In June, my sister arranged for a family vacation in La Morra to celebrate Oma’s 80th birthday.  We spent four wonderful, relaxing, and very hot (near 40° C) days at the blissfully air-conditioned Corte Gondina hotel.  One morning we walked down to the chapel, which overlooks the hillsides and vineyards of the Barolo region in this beautiful northwestern corner of the Langhe.
